EDUCATION
Miloco provides workshops individually or as a suplement to their performances: for students, professional actors, corporate and community groups. These workshops are specifically designed for different participants, ranging in focus from methods of creating new theatre, storytelling and physical theatre to examining cultural stereotypes, myths and traditions; team building and group dynamic workshops are also available.
Miloco also offers specialized Shakespeare workshops. For students or actors unfamiliar with Shakespeare as well as for professional actors.
Central to all the workshops are questions of identity where do our ideas of self and community come from, how are they formed? When should they be challenged? Celebrated?
Miloco has conducted numerous workshops both in the Czech Republic and Europe. These workshops have involved participants from theatre schools, professional actors, university students as well as school children. Individually, members of the Miloco ensemble have taught all over the world to almost every age range. From prisoners in American and British jails, theatre students in Japan, to business professionals in Canada, Miloco's collective teaching experience is unique.
Workshops are available on request and can be tailor-made for your student's needs.
